with Trevor Ariza & Learn From Those Who Have Lived It
Trevor Ariza is an NBA Champion, co-founder of BIG Limited, and a proud son of the Turks and Caicos Islands. Across an 18-year NBA career, Trevor became the first Turks and Caicos Islander to play in one of North America's four major professional sports leagues, winning a championship with the Los Angeles Lakers as their starting small forward in 2009.
The son of Trevor Saunders — known across the Islands as “GOAT” and widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players in Turks and Caicos history — Trevor's path was shaped by the opportunities his father's generation never had. That history drives his mission today: to build what wasn't there before.
Today, Trevor is creating pathways and platforms for the next generation of Turks and Caicos athletes. At the Symposium, he joined TCI's top athletes and their families to share the lessons of an elite career and the conviction that brought him home.
